‘Stamina mode’ is the term I use for that period of relative ease, after you get through the initial mud of starting something new.

When you set out at first you feel heavy, tired… it’s harder than you thought.

But if you stick with it, often the load lightens and what was once a trying to find a path through thick bush becomes an enjoyable cruise on a country road.
