This episode introduces the 3 ways that you can control your diet – dietary restriction, caloric restriction and time restriction.
This episode details the first two “levers” you can pull to control your weight and generally improve your health, dietary and caloric restriction.
This framework was put forward by Dr Peter Attia MD in an online video and inspired me to record this podcast.
Dr Attia explained that without control of any of these 3 levers, we are essentially following a standard Western diet which is detrimental to health.
For optimal health we should really be trying to pull 1 or 2 of these levers at any one time, and occasionally control all three elements at once.
