For me it’s about having space in my brain to see positively into the future…

to conceive new ideas and plan things in life that are meaningful like holidays and projects.

It’s feeling secure and confident about who I am and what I will and won’t stand for.

It’s having time for my husband and time with my husband…

it’s having patience, and physical & emotional availability for my 2 year old son…

And it’s being able to appreciate the really simple, but really great family moments.

It’s being ok with plans changing because I’m confident everything will work out…

and it’s also having the capacity to feel the fear and do it anyway…

to experience stress and anxiety and to have faith in myself and in the strategies I’ve learned and practiced, to do what needs to be done and move forward.

On a sliding scale where stress leads to anxiety and eventually complete burnout (the red zone)…

that’s what living in the “Green Zone” means to me.

What does it, or could it mean for you?
